Deck overview

Malik, Grim Manipulator commands a Mardu midrange strategy centered on sacrifice triggers, token swarms, and blink value. The primary game plan controls opposing boards by forcing creature sacrifices with Malik, M.O.D.O.K., Evil Intellect, and Rottenmouth Viper while generating Treasure tokens and board presence. The deck converts these resources into victory through wide combat damage boosted by Cathars' Crusade, non-combat burn from Slash, Reptile Rampager and Warleader's Call, or direct damage redirection using Brash Taunter and Dawnsire, Sunstar Dreadnought. Repeated blink engines like Teleportation Circle and Phelia, Exuberant Shepherd continually recycle enter-the-battlefield abilities to grind down opponents.
