Deck overview

Animar, Soul of Elements commands a high-velocity Temur creature combo deck engineered to assemble game-ending loops with blistering speed and robust protection. The deck leverages low-cost mana dorks and fast artifact mana on Turn 1 to deploy Animar on Turn 2. As creature spells enter the battlefield, Animar accumulates +1/+1 counters, dramatically discounting subsequent creature casting costs. Once Animar reaches four counters, a single tutor yields Ancestral Statue, enabling an infinite self-bounce loop that inflates Animar to arbitrary size and generates infinite creature cast triggers. The loop then retrieves and casts Walking Ballista or Agate Instigator to burn all three opponents out in the same turn. The list insulates its combo lines against competitive interaction through innate protection from white and black, uncounterable creature enablers like Hexing Squelcher and Prowling Serpopard, and free countermagic such as Fierce Guardianship and Deflecting Swat.
