Commander: Shadow the Hedgehog

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Shadow the Hedgehog leads a Rakdos artifact-sacrifice and death-trigger value engine. The deck combines repeated token/tool generation from creatures with haste or flash, payoffs that punish deaths and sacrifices, and artifact-based mana acceleration. Its aggressive curve aims to accumulate treasures and bodies, then convert that board mass into lethal swings or drain through effects like Insurrection, Super State, Tainted Strike, or a critical-mass artifact win via Hellkite Tyrant or Knuckles. The commander offers card draw from haste creatures and split second on artifact-cast spells, often protecting key plays. The deck is flexible: it can pressure early, grind through mid-game value, then close with a large token army or one-shot commander swing. The backup legendary suite provides redundancy.
