Baral, Chief of Compliance by HoleyCrusader

Format: Commander

Commander: Baral, Chief of Compliance

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Mono-Blue spellslinger/control deck helmed by Baral, Chief of Compliance. The primary game plan uses Baral's cost reduction and draw-on-counter trigger alongside a dense suite of counters, bounce spells, and magecraft engines (Archmage Emeritus, Talrand, Sky Summoner, Windrider Wizard) to control the board, generate value, and assemble wins. Threats are deployed via casting (with reductions) or storm. Primary win conditions include storm combos (Mind's Desire, Brain Freeze), extra turns with Walk the Aeons, token swarms from Shark Typhoon/Talrand, and Tidespout Tyrant loops. Baral is essential for efficiency but the deck has backup cost reducers.
