Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Rakdos combo and group-slug strategy helmed by Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin. It leverages exact 1-life pings from opponents' actions—such as drawing cards, tapping lands, or playing creatures—to trigger the commander repeatedly. These triggers grow Ob Nixilis into a massive flying threat while generating immense card advantage through impulse exile. The deck uses explosive rituals like Dark Ritual, Cabal Ritual, and Jeska's Will to accelerate its deployment. Its primary path to victory is a deterministic two-card infinite combo between Ob Nixilis and All Will Be One, which deals infinite damage across the table in a single loop. Backed by free redirection spells like Deflecting Swat and efficient removal like Deadly Rollick, the deck smoothly pivots between grinding down opponents with passive burn and threatening an immediate same-turn finish.
