Trap Hatsudo by Naqraumor

Format: Commander

Commander: Kadena, Slinking Sorcerer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kadena is a face-down value deck that wins by turning cheap 2/2s into cards and board control. Kadena makes the first face-down creature each turn cost {3} less and draws a card whenever a face-down creature enters, so you deploy a wide board while refilling your hand. You flip morph, megamorph and disguise creatures for counters, bounce and removal, and use manifest dread to add more bodies. The primary win is combat after buffing the board with Beastmaster Ascension, Trail of Mystery, or Curator Beastie. The secondary win is a hard lock with Brine Elemental plus Vesuvan Shapeshifter. Vesuvan Shapeshifter is the hidden commander that enables that lock.
