Format: Commander

Commander: Kwain, Itinerant Meddler

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Azorius group-hug deck uses Kwain, Itinerant Meddler to force everyone to draw, then punishes opponents for drawing while you profit. The primary plan forces mass draws with Temple Bell, Folio of Fancies, Howling Mine and Kwain, and converts them into wins with Psychosis Crawler, Scrawling Crawler, Iron Maiden and Ebony Owl Netsuke, or decks itself with Laboratory Maniac and Jace, Wielder of Mysteries. A secondary stax shell (Ghostly Prison, Propaganda, Windborn Muse, Silent Arbiter, Elesh Norn) buys time. Kwain is the repeatable draw engine and a Mind Over Matter outlet; Mind Over Matter acts as the hidden commander that turns any draw artifact into infinite draw.
