Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir spellslinger and Wraith kindred strategy commanded by Lord of the Nazgûl. The game plan revolves around accelerating into the 5-mana commander, then casting a dense suite of low-cost instants, sorceries, and Ring-tempting spells to create an army of 3/3 black Wraith tokens with menace. Nine copies of Nazgûl provide massive redundancy, distributing +1/+1 counters across all Wraiths each time the Ring tempts you. High-velocity cantrips like Ponder, Preordain, and Brainstorm keep cards flowing while triggering token generation and buffing the board. Interactive spells pull double duty by answering opposing threats while advancing your own board state. Asymmetric evasion cards like Cover of Darkness and mass bounce from Raise the Palisade ensure your growing Wraiths connect freely, closing out games through overwhelming combat damage over two decisive turns.
