Deck overview

This deck is a dedicated Mardu combat aggro strategy commanded by Isshin, Two Heavens as One. The plan revolves around curving out with aggressive creatures that carry powerful attack triggers, using Isshin's static ability to double their output. Token generators like Hero of Bladehold and Grave Titan flood the battlefield twice as fast, while damage amplifiers such as Fervent Charge, Adriana, Captain of the Guard, and Tectonic Giant turn wide boards into game-ending combat pressure. The deck incorporates impulse draw via Laelia, the Blade Reforged and Boomer Scrapper to sustain momentum. Because it wins strictly through fair combat damage, the list relies on curving efficiently on turns 2 through 4 and swinging aggressively. While it lacks fast mana, tutors, and dense protection against board wipes, its extreme redundancy in combat threats allows it to close games through successive, overwhelming combat steps across turns 6 to 8.
