Deck overview

This deck is a Jund graveyard-centric aggressive strategy designed around Dredge, Hellbent, and Undergrowth mechanics. Commanded by The Muckslinger Gang, the deck turns creature cards in the graveyard into potent assets by giving them a static +3/+3 bonus. This synergy dramatically enhances Scavenge costs and Undergrowth counters with cards like Varolz, the Scar-Striped, Lupine Prototype, and Golgari Raiders. The secondary axis of the deck leans heavily into empty-hand synergies, utilizing continuous hand-dumping and discard engines such as Aclazotz, Deepest Betrayal, Asylum Visitor, and Gibbering Descent to strip opponent resources while breaking parity through Phial of Galadriel and Case of the Crimson Pulse. Without dedicated fast mana rocks or infinite combos, the deck focuses on a steady mid-game clock, assembling massive combat threats by Turn 6 and finishing opponents sequentially through high-power creature swings and reach damage from Lotleth Giant.
