Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari graveyard combo and aristocrats strategy led by Meren of Clan Nel Toth. It uses low-cost mana elves and early self-mill or tutoring to rapidly stock the graveyard with high-impact creatures. The primary game plan centers on assembling an infinite damage combo with Mikaeus, the Unhallowed and Triskelion, which can be tutored directly with Buried Alive and reanimated in a single turn with Victimize or Reanimate. If the combo is delayed, the deck transitions smoothly into an attrition game, repeatedly sacrificing and reanimating edict creatures like Plaguecrafter and Fleshbag Marauder to clear opposing boards while building experience counters. While the deck possesses rapid assembly, strong tutor access, and fast engine recovery, it carries minimal dedicated stack protection, making it vulnerable to well-timed instant creature removal and graveyard exile effects.
