Thranduil, The Elven King attempt by egg1807

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thranduil turns the graveyard into a toolbox of Elf activated abilities. The deck mills or tutors key Elves, especially Lathril for the ten-Elf drain, Selvala for explosive mana, and Woodland Weavemaster for extra Elf-only mana, then uses Thranduil to activate them. The primary route is a midrange Elf swarm that wins through Lathril's drain or a huge Finale of Devastation, with a secondary Selvala + Staff of Domination infinite-mana line. Lathril effectively acts as a hidden finisher once she is in the graveyard. The deck is grindy and flexible, but it depends on keeping Thranduil alive and on having the right Elf cards in the graveyard.
