Treebeard, Gracious Host by lukkychukky

Format: Commander

Commander: Treebeard, Gracious Host

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Selesnya deck turns Food and life gain into permanent growth. Treebeard, Gracious Host converts each point of life you gain into +1/+1 counters on a Halfling or Treefolk, so every Food sacrifice, lifelink hit, and mass life spell grows your board. Peregrin Took, Rosie Cotton of South Lane, Sam, Loyal Attendant and Academy Manufactor multiply Food tokens, while The Wind Crystal doubles life gain and Bristly Bill doubles counters. You win by attacking with large trampling Treefolk and Halflings, drawing cards off Terrasymbiosis and similar engines, and grinding incremental combat damage. There is no infinite combo; the plan is fair, sequential combat.
