Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai Elfball Midrange strategy helmed by Thranduil, the Elvenking. It blends traditional Elf swarm mechanics with graveyard-based ability copying. Early turns accelerate mana through low-cost dorks like Llanowar Elves and Birds of Paradise while sculpting the graveyard using Buried Alive and Entomb. When Thranduil enters on Turn 4, he inherits the activated abilities of every Elf in the graveyard, transforming into a massive mana generator through Marwyn, the Nurturer or an untapping engine via Seeker of Skybreak. On Turn 5, this explosive mana fuels decisive table-wide finishers such as Craterhoof Behemoth or stacked activations of Tyvar, the Pummeler, wiping out all three opponents in a single combat step.
