Format: Commander

Commander: Nekusar, the Mindrazer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Nekusar, the Mindrazer is both the deck's engine and its primary finisher. The plan is to land him early, protect him with haste/shroud boots, and then resolve mass-draw spells such as Reforge the Soul or Windfall while piling on damage from Underworld Dreams, Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, Ghyrson Starn, and Harmonic Prodigy. Ojer Axonil and Solphim turn each 1-point trigger into massive chunks, while Phyresis offers an alternate infect kill. The Locust God serves as a secondary commander-like payoff, turning every draw into flying attackers. Tergrid, God of Fright's back face is a discard/sacrifice engine, and the front face of Ojer Axonil is the damage amplifier the deck is built around.
