Deck overview

This is a Selesnya tokens/lifegain/populate deck helmed by Trostani, Selesnya's Voice. The core loop is simple: every creature that enters gains life off Trostani (plus Soul Warden, Suture Priest, and Angelic Chorus), and that life is converted into either more tokens (Storm Herd, Speaker of the Heavens, Resplendent Angel, Crested Sunmare), +1/+1 counters (Archangel of Thune, Lathiel, the Bounteous Dawn, Nykthos Paragon), or a direct kill (Aetherflux Reservoir). Populate effects - Growing Ranks, Song of the Worldsoul, Rootborn Defenses - multiply the best token on the board, while Doubling Season doubles both tokens and counters. The deck wins through overwhelming combat with a pumped, wide board, an Aetherflux Reservoir life-payment, or the Halo Fountain alternate win. It is a classic midrange value engine that trades early speed for inevitability.
