Deck overview

This Golgari deck centers on Camellia, the Seedmiser, blending Squirrel tribal combat with resilient Food and token generation engines. The deck accelerates through high-impact mana lands like Gaea's Cradle and creature mana enablers like Jaheira, Friend of the Forest. It converts every sacrificed Food into 1/1 Squirrel tokens and leverages Camellia's forage ability to grow the swarm with +1/+1 counters and menace evasion. Card advantage flows from Clues and specialized engines like Peregrin Took and Bonecache Overseer. While the deck features an infinite combo in Earthcraft and Squirrel Nest, its primary path to victory is wide-board combat damage, Triumph of the Hordes, and scaling life-drain triggers from Valley Rotcaller and Mirkwood Bats. The lack of universal nonland tutors makes the deck play through natural card draw and deep engine redundancy.
