Deck overview

This is a Boros spells-matter deck helmed by Lorehold, the Historian, built to exploit her miracle {2} ability to cast expensive instants and sorceries for just two mana when drawn as the first card of a turn. The deck pairs that discount with a wheel package (Wheel of Fortune, Magus of the Wheel, Naktamun Lorespinner // Wheel of Fortune) and looting to churn through the library, plus treasure generation (Brass's Bounty, Big Score, Storm-Kiln Artist) to fuel explosive turns. Primary wins come from mass token generation (Storm Herd, Furygale Flocking, Deploy to the Front) pumped by Akroma's Will, or from Insurrection stealing the entire board, with damage doublers Gisela, Blade of Goldnight and Angrath's Marauders multiplying the clock. Surge to Victory and Rise of the Eldrazi offer spell-copying and extra-turn lines, while Approach of the Second Sun provides an alternate win condition.
