Format: Commander

Commander: Edgar Markov

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Mardu Vampire build uses Edgar Markov's Eminence to convert every Vampire spell into a free 1/1 token, then multiplies that swarm with token doublers and anthem effects. The primary plan is an aggressive, wide board that swings with haste-backed Vampires while Sanctum Seeker-style triggers drain life; a secondary, faster route is an infinite life-loss loop from Exquisite Blood with Sanguine Bond, Vito, or Bloodthirsty Conqueror. Edgar also provides an attack-trigger pump, but the deck can operate even if he remains in the command zone. No hidden commander exists; the 99 is built around the tribe's synergies rather than a specific second face.
