Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Orzhov Ninja combat deck led by Dark Leo & Shredder. The game plan revolves around deploying cheap, evasive creatures and utilizing Sneak or Ninjutsu to cheat attackers into play tapped and unblocked. Dark Leo gives attacking Ninjas deathtouch and creates 1/1 Ninja tokens on combat damage. Once the board reaches five Ninjas, Dark Leo cuts defending players' life totals in half. The deck accelerates this clock using life-loss doublers like Bloodletter of Aclazotz, Wound Reflection, and Astarion, the Decadent, turning single unblocked hits into instant lethal knockouts. Alternate heavy hitters like Shredder, Shadow Master and Unstoppable Slasher provide redundant life-halving triggers across multiple targets. A robust white-black interaction package delivers efficient spot removal, while premier defensive spells like Teferi's Protection, Flawless Maneuver, and Grand Abolisher safeguard key combat windows against opposing disruption.
