Deck overview

This deck is built around a compact Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame combo. The combo requires five mana, including three red, and creates unlimited hasty Dualcaster Mage tokens that attack for lethal damage immediately. The list has strong mana velocity from rituals, rocks, Sol Ring, Mana Vault, Ruby Medallion, and Birgi, God of Storytelling, so the mana requirement is realistic. Its main weakness is access: Gamble can find either card, Diabolic Intent can find Dualcaster Mage, and the draw package digs through the deck, but no reliable tutor finds Twinflame or assembles both cards. The deck also has useful removal and some protection, although these cards compete with combo development. If the combo is unavailable, Kuja, Genome Sorcerer supports a slower Wizard noncreature-spell damage plan. That backup creates pressure but does not provide the same compact or reliable finish.
