Brago Blink B3? by user8944436

Format: Commander

Commander: Brago, King Eternal

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a UW blink deck built around Brago, King Eternal. The primary plan is to deploy Brago, connect with unblockable equipment or effects, and trigger mass flicker to generate value from enter-the-battlefield creatures. The secondary path is a Yorion/panharmonicon-style blink engine that uses Peregrine Drake to generate mana and either loop Archaeomancer with Ghostly Flicker for infinite mana and a finisher, or use Brago plus Strionic Resonator to generate infinite Brago triggers. The deck also includes a Laboratory Maniac backup via infinite draw from repeated Cloud of Faeries/Archaeomancer loops. The commander is the central engine because his combat trigger is the cheapest repeatable mass blink, but the deck contains enough independent blink pieces (Venser, Yorion, Conjurer's Closet, etc.) that it can still operate if Brago is removed repeatedly. The hidden commander is effectively Peregrine Drake, as it enables the mana engine for the primary infinite combo. The deck is built to use Brago's face as the primary plan, despite Yorion being in the 99 and not chosen as companion (the deck has fewer than 100 cards).
