Deck overview

This deck is a focused high-power Kaalia of the Vast build designed to accelerate Kaalia into play, give her haste, and cheat game-ending Angels, Demons, and Dragons onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. The deck pairs explosive combat threats like Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, Archfiend of Despair, and Terror of the Peaks with asymmetric lock pieces such as Avacyn, Angel of Hope alongside Armageddon. It also features a secondary reanimator package with Buried Alive and Animate Dead, which provides independent resilience and access to the infinite mana loop with Worldgorger Dragon. While Kaalia herself is vulnerable to early targeted removal, the deck's redundancy in heavy hitters and reanimation outlets ensures rapid recovery and devastating aerial pressure.
