Deck overview

Varina, Lich Queen leads an Esper Zombie tribal deck that wins by going wide and draining opponents. You attack with Zombies to trigger Varina, drawing and discarding to fill your graveyard, gain life, and create tapped Zombie tokens. Those tokens and discard synergies fuel aristocrat drains from Wayward Servant, Corpse Knight, Diregraf Captain, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel. The deck also assembles infinite loops with Rooftop Storm or Liliana, Untouched by Death plus Gravecrawler or Relentless Dead and a sacrifice outlet like Phyrexian Altar.
