Deck overview

Pramikon, Sky Rampart commands a dedicated Jeskai Pillowfort and Forced Combat control strategy designed to dictate table dynamics and neuter aggressive strategies. The deck's primary plan centers on casting Pramikon on curve to force unidirectional attacks, then entrenching behind layers of taxing enchantments such as Ghostly Prison, Propaganda, and Sphere of Safety. As opponents are forced to attack one another or stall under heavy mana taxes, asymmetric stax pieces like Narset, Parter of Veils and Teferi, Time Raveler shut down opposing card draw and instant-speed interaction. The deck maintains board parity using efficient sweepers like Supreme Verdict, Blasphemous Act, and Farewell. Once the table is locked in combat gridlock, the deck closes the game by resolving and recasting Approach of the Second Sun, with a potent infinite backup win condition in Saheeli Rai and Felidar Guardian.
