Deck overview

This deck is a five-color midrange deck centered on Marvel Villain kindred synergies, connive mechanics, and combat pressure led by Thanos, the Mad Titan. The game plan opens with ramp and color fixing to build a five-color mana base across the first three turns. On Turns 4 and 5, it establishes an engine of synergistic Villains like Baron Strucker, HYDRA Overlord, Madame Hydra, and Prowler, Clawed Thief that churn through cards using connive while creating menacing tokens. The deck reaches a must-answer state on Turn 7 by resolving mass anthems like The Squadron Sinister or activating Thanos to selectively clear odd or even blockers. It eliminates all three opponents through wide, evasive attacks by Turn 9. While the deck possesses strong card filtering, modular kindred threats, and solid spot removal, its reliance on tap-lands and lack of instant-speed board protection make it vulnerable to timely sweepers.
