Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Aura-control strategy commanded by Eriette of the Charmed Apple. Its game plan revolves around enchanting opposing creatures with low-cost pacification and goad Auras, completely negating incoming attacks while forcing opponents to battle one another. As the Aura count scales, Eriette siphons life from each opponent on every pilot end step. Cost reducers such as Killian, Ink Duelist and Starfield Mystic accelerate Aura deployment, while draw engines like Sram, Senior Edificer and Mesa Enchantress keep hand resources full. Asymmetric wipes like Winds of Rath and mass recursion spells like Retether and Eiganjo Dynastorian // Replenish provide resilience against opposing removal. The deck locks out combat damage through Sphere of Safety and closes the game through compounding life drain amplified by Enduring Tenacity or overwhelming aerial combat from All That Glitters and Sigil of the Empty Throne.
