Deck overview

This deck is an Esper control shell commanded by Aminatou, Veil Piercer. It combines enchantment-based midrange value and pillowfort defense with a compact, game-ending combo. The deck uses early mana rocks and cheap card manipulation to establish its mana base, then deploys Aminatou to surveil each upkeep and cast powerful enchantments for reduced miracle costs. While enchantments like Archon of Sun's Grace, Felidar Retreat, and Starfield of Nyx provide defensive stalling, token generation, and board presence, the primary win condition is the instant-speed Thassa's Oracle and Demonic Consultation combo. Supported by premium unconditional tutors and free counterspells like Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, and Pact of Negation, the deck safely executes its win condition with zero opponent response cycles. Although duplicate basic lands prevent Tainted Pact from acting as a redundant combo line, backup payoffs like Laboratory Maniac maintain strong strategic redundancy.
