Deck overview

Arcades, the Strategist captains a specialized toughness-matters deck that transforms defensive creatures into an aggressive engine. By turning high-toughness defenders into attackers that assign damage with their toughness, Arcades converts low-mana walls into massive threats that replace themselves on entry. The deck aims to flood the battlefield with cheap defenders, draw through its library rapidly, and overwhelm opponents via unblockable attacks with Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive or massive bursts of toughness pump from Tower Defense and Akroma's Will. Alternatively, it can execute an infinite mana line using Axebane Guardian and High Alert to pour infinite mana into Finale of Devastation for an immediate lethal overrun.
