Deck overview

This Orzhov enchantment deck is commanded by Eriette of the Charmed Apple and centers on an Aura-based pillowfort strategy. The deck neutralizes opposing threats by attaching pacifying Auras like Darksteel Mutation, Planar Disruption, and Pacifism directly to opposing creatures. Eriette turns these debuffs into absolute defense: enchanted creatures cannot attack you or your planeswalkers. At your end step, Eriette drains each opponent for life equal to your total Aura count and pads your life total. Stax pieces like Ghostly Prison, Blind Obedience, and Norn's Annex tax any remaining attacks and slow down opposing mana. While opponents struggle through the defensive web, Eriette bleeds the table down, supported by mass recursion like Replenish and Retether. The deck also packs an instant win combo in Exquisite Blood paired with Sanguine Bond or Enduring Tenacity to end games decisively.
