Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Golgari tokens and aristocrats build commanded by Chatterfang, Squirrel General. The strategy accelerates on early turns with mana dorks, rocks, and early token producers like Prosperous Innkeeper and Tireless Provisioner. Chatterfang turns every token creation event—whether Food, Treasure, Clue, or Creature—into additional 1/1 green Squirrel tokens. The deck translates this wide board state into victory through multiple complementary avenues: infinite mana, ETB, and death trigger loops via Pitiless Plunderer; drain effects with Mirkwood Bats, Bastion of Remembrance, and Cauldron of Essence; or massive overrun combat damage using Craterhoof Behemoth and Beastmaster Ascension. Chatterfang doubles as a repeatable, on-board creature removal engine by sacrificing Squirrels to eliminate opposing threats. While vulnerable to early creature board wipes and lacking stack-based countermagic, the deck features strong recursion, multiple token doublers, and robust card advantage to overwhelm opponents by Turns 5–6.
