Deck overview

This deck is a classic Zedruu the Greathearted control list focused on weaponized donations and pillowfort defense. It establishes an early resource engine by deploying harmless permanents and donating them to opponents using Zedruu, Bazaar Trader, or Coveted Falcon. Once Zedruu begins drawing multiple cards and gaining life each upkeep, the deck transitions into disruptive control. It donates devastating asymmetric hindrances such as Steel Golem to creature decks, Pyromancer's Swath to empty hands, and Aggressive Mining to lock out land drops. While opponents struggle under these restrictions and attack tax cards like Propaganda and Ghostly Prison, the deck works toward decisive win conditions. It closes the game by donating lethal lifegain traps like Illusions of Grandeur and Transcendence, beating down with an ever-growing Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos, or resolving Approach of the Second Sun.
