New Untitled Deck by thegrumpydolphin

Format: Commander

Commander: Kenessos, Priest of Thassa

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Kenessos, Priest of Thassa leads a Simic sea-monster cheat deck. You scry and manipulate the top of your library, then pay {3}{G/U} to look at the top card and put any Kraken, Leviathan, Octopus or Serpent directly into play. With Training Grounds or Biomancer's Familiar that cost drops to {1}, and with Seedborn Muse or Wilderness Reclamation you can activate on each player's turn. The primary plan is to cheat one to two huge threats per turn cycle and win with unblockable combat through Serpent of Yawning Depths, Archetype of Imagination or Stormtide Leviathan. Secondary paths hard-cast threats with ramp like Arixmethes and Cultivate effects and grind value with Aesi and Koma tokens. Hullbreaker Horror plus Sol Ring can make infinite mana but has no outlet, so it is only a bounce engine. Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait acts as the hidden commander for extra lands and draw.
