Thranduil, King of the Woodland Realm by Narndil

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Sultai Elf "graveyard toolbox" deck helmed by Thranduil, the Elvenking, whose signature ability - gaining all activated abilities of Elf cards in the graveyard - turns the bin into a command-zone engine. The deck mills and tutors key Elves into the yard (Buried Alive, Cantankerous Keepers, Otherworldly Gaze, Frantic Search) so Thranduil can tap for massive mana via Priest of Titania or Woodland Weavemaster, untap itself with Devoted Druid, tutor with Fauna Shaman, and generate tokens with Imperious Perfect. The primary win is a big-mana burst into Exsanguinate, backed by a Lathril, Blade of the Elves token army with Elf lords for combat. Secondary lines include Maralen, Fae Ascendant free-casting and Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord drains.
