Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov token aristocrats build centered on Kambal, Profiteering Mayor. The strategy revolves around generating creature and artifact tokens while actively giving tokens to opponents through cards like Slaughter Specialist, Hunted Horror, and Generous Gift. Whenever opponents receive tokens, Kambal creates copies for you once per turn, triggering his drain ability. The deck compounds this life disparity using an extensive suite of aristocrat drainers such as Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, and Mirkwood Bats, alongside sacrifice outlets like Ashnod's Altar and Viscera Seer. Card advantage engines including Caretaker's Talent, Tocasia's Welcome, and Black Market Connections maintain steady card flow. The deck closes games around turns 6 to 8 with explosive token generation spells like Awaken the Erstwhile, Alliance of Arms, or a board-clearing Massacre Wurm, draining the table through stacked token entry and death triggers.
