Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Rakdos Goblin and Orc tribal deck helmed by The Great Goblin. The strategy revolves around the amass mechanic, utilizing spells and creature abilities to continuously grow a single Orc or Goblin Army token. Whenever +1/+1 counters are placed on an Army, Goblin, or Orc, The Great Goblin deals 2 direct damage to an opponent, converting counter placement into steady life-total burn. Additionally, when your tribal creatures or Army tokens die, the commander exiles cards from your library that you can play until the end of your next turn, providing consistent card advantage. The deck ramps on curve and uses lords such as Mauhúr, Uruk-hai Captain and Orcish Siegemaster to push through damage, culminating in explosive overrun turns with Assault on Osgiliath. While vulnerable to tall-creature removal and board wipes, the deck offers high synergy, relentless pressure, and solid recovery through its impulse-draw engine.
