Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Mono-Blue artifact strategy commanded by Lady Octopus, Inspired Inventor. Lady Octopus enters on Turn 1 and accumulates ingenuity counters whenever you draw your first or second card each turn. By Turn 4, she taps to cheat mid-cost artifacts into play without spending mana. As counters climb to 6 and beyond, she deploys colossal threats like Cityscape Leveler, Myr Battlesphere, and Memnarch well ahead of curve. The deck breaks parity through an asymmetric basic-land suite paired with Winter Moon, choking opponents' mana development while advancing its own. Robust card advantage engines like Tezzeret, Artifice Master, The Celestus, and Mystic Forge ensure constant fuel, while Mirran Spy allows multiple free artifact casts in a single turn. Defended by efficient countermagic, hexproof equipment, and March of Swirling Mist, the deck transitions into a lethal token and combat finish across Turns 7 and 8.
