Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai Equipment Voltron and board-control strategy commanded by Captain America, First Avenger. The deck accelerates early mana and equips Captain America for free during combat using his Catch trigger. Attaching massive weapons such as Colossus Hammer, Excalibur, Sword of Eden, and Kaldra Compleat allows Captain America to quickly eliminate opponents through commander damage. His Throw ability turns high-mana equipment into instant-speed removal or direct player burn, keeping opposing boards clear of blockers and key threats. Dense equipment redundancy and tutors like Steelshaper's Gift and Fighter Class guarantee fast assembly. A robust suite of protection spells, including Teferi's Protection, Boros Charm, and Hammer of Nazahn, shields the commander from interaction. Even if Captain America is answered, alternate carriers like Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist and Bruenor Battlehammer maintain aggressive pressure to close out the game.
