Legend of Liliana by JackinBlackMTG

Format: Commander

Commander: Liliana, Heretical Healer // Liliana, Defiant Necromancer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-black aristocrats and Zombie tribal deck blends planeswalker control with reanimation value engines. The front face of Liliana, Heretical Healer acts as an early lifelink body that flips into Liliana, Defiant Necromancer when nontoken creatures die. The planeswalker back face fuels graveyard recursion and symmetric hand disruption, breaking parity through recursive threats like Gravecrawler and Reassembling Skeleton. The deck grinds opponents down with sacrifice payoffs like Grave Pact and Blood Artist before closing the game via mass reanimation spells like Living Death, devotion bursts with Gray Merchant of Asphodel, or an infinite sacrifice loop with Gravecrawler and Phyrexian Altar.
