Deck overview

This mono-blue combo deck leverages Bruvac the Grandiloquent to turn targeted and table-wide mill effects into lethal win conditions. Bruvac replaces all opposing mill with double the amount, enabling kicked Maddening Cacophony to mill 100% of each opponent's library in a single cast. The creature base consists of 26 copies of Persistent Petitioners, which provide early defensive blocking, incremental mill, and an alternate win route when paired with Thrumming Stone or Intruder Alarm. The deck protects its combo turn using an efficient suite of counterspells, including free interaction like Fierce Guardianship and Force of Will. Mana acceleration from pieces like Sol Ring, Mana Vault, and Ancient Tomb speeds up the deployment of Bruvac and high-cost mill spells. When uninterrupted, the deck reliably assembles its setup by Turn 5 and eliminates all opponents on Turn 6 as they draw from empty libraries.
