New Untitled Deck by BigQuinn86

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking leads a BUG elf tribal deck that leans heavily on self-mill and the graveyard. The primary plan is to fill the graveyard with key Elves, use Thranduil as a toolbox to steal their activated abilities, and finish by draining opponents with Lathril, Blade of the Elves' activated ability. A secondary plan is an explosive combat finish, often via Overwhelming Stampede or pumped tokens. The commander is both a card-advantage engine (drawing legendary Elves) and the main activated-ability vessel. Lathril functions as a hidden commander because the deck is built to mill her, then have Thranduil activate her ability from the graveyard.
