Ob Nix by user4705728

Format: Commander

Commander: Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin turns every exactly-1-life ping into a +1/+1 counter and a free cast from exile. The primary plan is to deploy Ob early, then run one-sided pingers-Tectonic Hazard, End the Festivities, Voldaren Epicure, Reckless Fireweaver-to snowball card advantage and grow Ob. The main win is compact: Dualcaster Mage with Twinflame or Molten Duplication creates lethal hasty token copies. Underworld Breach plus Lotus Petal and Grinding Station, and Bolas's Citadel plus Aetherflux Reservoir with Sensei's Divining Top, are backup wins. Tutors, rituals, Ad Nauseam, and Necropotence find and fuel the line. Prosper, Tome-Bound serves as a secondary engine while Birgi/Harnfel and Top smooth draws.
