Elves by Badger

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking leads a versatile Sultai Elf deck that merges explosive traditional Elfball swarming with graveyard-activated toolbox redundancy. The commander copies every activated ability of Elf cards in your graveyard while filtering cards whenever a legendary Elf enters the battlefield under your control. The deck generates massive mana via creatures like Priest of Titania, Elvish Archdruid, and Marwyn, the Nurturer, or copies their abilities onto Thranduil. It wins either by going infinite with Umbral Mantle or Staff of Domination into Walking Ballista, or by executing overwhelming combat overruns using Craterhoof Behemoth, Finale of Devastation, and Ezuri, Renegade Leader.
