Deck overview

This Mardu deck leverages Fire Lord Zuko as both a combat mana accelerator and a scaling pump engine. The game plan focuses on casting cards from exile and triggering enter-the-battlefield effects from exile to distribute +1/+1 counters across your entire creature base. Early turns prioritize deploying low-cost utility creatures and artifact ramp, followed by casting Zuko on Turn 3. On Turn 4, the deck establishes impulse draw engines such as Prosper, Tome-Bound, Outpost Siege, or Theater of Horrors.
