Deck overview

This Simic deck uses the partner pairing of Kodama of the East Tree and Sakashima of a Thousand Faces to cheat massive permanents into play and overwhelm the table. Early turns accelerate mana through dorks and land ramp like Lotus Cobra and Somberwald Sage. Casting Kodama on turn 3 or 4 followed by Sakashima duplicates Kodama without the legend rule, creating two simultaneous cheat triggers whenever a permanent enters. The deck uses card draw engines such as Tribute to the World Tree, Garruk's Uprising, and Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait to refill the hand and sustain continuous permanent drops. It wins by swarming the board with large trampling threats like Apex Devastator, creating token armies with Scute Swarm and Rampaging Baloths, or executing an infinite bounce land loop with Simic Growth Chamber. Efficient counterspells and hexproof spells protect the board during critical deployment turns.
