Deck overview

Loki, Lord of Misrule commands a mono-blue clone swarm strategy that converts wide boards of small creatures and tokens into lethal copies of high-impact payoffs. The game plan opens with low-cost token generators like Mischievous Mystic, Minn, Wily Illusionist, and Council of Reeds, establishing an evasive presence while developing mana rocks. Once Loki resolves and readies, deploying premier payoff creatures like The Mindskinner, Mist-Syndicate Naga, or Auton Soldier allows Loki's sorcery-speed ability to transform every friendly creature into nonlegendary copies until end of turn. Attacking with multiple unblockable 10/1 Mindskinners rapidly mills out the table in two to three combat steps. The deck backs its proactive threats with a robust suite of efficient countermagic (Fierce Guardianship, Mana Drain, Counterspell) and asymmetric bounce sweepers (Cyclonic Rift, Raise the Palisade). While vulnerable to well-timed spot removal before attacks, backup mass-copy effects like Naga Fleshcrafter and Mystic Reflection ensure strong resilience.
