Deck overview

This deck leverages Codie, Ravenous Codex as a duplicator for the 'prepare' mechanic, doubling instant and sorcery spells cast from prepare creatures. The mana base supports all five colors through versatile ramp like Farseek, Faeburrow Elder, and Timeless Lotus. Once Codie is deployed alongside prepare creatures such as Emeritus of Ideation, Blazing Firesinger, or Emeritus of Woe, casting their spell sides triggers Codie to copy them for massive tempo swings. Win conditions pivot on storming off with Storm-Kiln Artist, Jeskai Ascendancy, and Archmage Emeritus, translating cast triggers into an army of flying tokens via Rite of the Dragoncaller, direct burn via Fiery Inscription, or an overwhelming Exsanguinate. The list functions smoothly as a compounding synergy engine, utilizing high card velocity to overwhelm opponents while maintaining resilience through natural redundancy and graveyard recursion.
