Deck overview

This deck is a competitive Izzet artifact storm combo engine led by Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain. The strategy accelerates Jhoira onto the battlefield on Turn 2 or Turn 3 using format-ceiling fast mana such as Mishra's Workshop, Mana Vault, and zero-cost Moxen. Once Jhoira resolves alongside cost reducers like Etherium Sculptor and Helm of Awakening, every zero-mana or discounted artifact spell replaces itself by drawing a card on cast. The deck sustains its storm velocity using cheap mass bounce spells like Retract, Hurkyl's Recall, and Paradoxical Outcome to pick up and replay its entire artifact board. This explosive draw chain loops through the library in a single turn to assemble a game-ending win condition: laser-beaming the table with Aetherflux Reservoir, milling opponents with Brain Freeze, or casting a lethal Grapeshot. Free interaction spells like Fierce Guardianship and Deflecting Swat protect the combo turn against opposing disruption.
