Hi and Die by JGCD

Format: Commander

Commander: Shantotto, Tactician Magician

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Shantotto is both the deck's engine and its primary win condition. Every noncreature spell adds power to her, and four-plus-mana spells also draw cards, so the strategy is to turn Izzet card plays into a growing, evasive attacker. The hidden payoff is The Emperor of Palamecia back side, Lord Master of Hell, which converts a full graveyard into an all-opponents burn trigger. Secondary routes use Shark Typhoon, Metallurgic Summonings, and Ovika to make giant token armies, then send them through extra combat spells. There is no infinite combo; the deck is a fair, draw-heavy spellslinger that spikes a pumped commander when it can afford a large spell turn.
