Deck overview

Garland, Royal Kidnapper is a UB theft-control deck that uses the monarch as a revolving door: whenever an opponent takes the crown, Garland steals that player's best creature, while all creatures you control but don't own get +2/+2 and can't be sacrificed. The primary plan is to let opponents trade the crown among themselves while layering in permanent theft (Mind Flayer, Subjugate the Hobbits, Shield Broker) and focused reanimation (Reanimate, Bringer of the Last Gift) so the board survives when the crown moves. Secondary paths are mill-to-steal with The Cyber-Controller/Gyruda and goaded skulk damage. No double-faced or hidden commander; the deck is built on Garland's ETB and recurring monarch trigger.
